Fur
Whether you wear your fur or not it should be cleaned annually at Owl Cleaners to restore oils to the fur. As with all skins, furs need moisture to stay supple and healthy. Without regular conditioning, the hide can become dry and brittle, and begin to lose hair. Once that happens, you can’t restore either the fur or the moisture to the hide itself.
Leather
Like furs, leather and shearling pieces benefit from annual cleaning and conditioning of the hide. Owl Cleaners can perform this regular maintenance cleaning as well as emergency spot cleaning.
Fur
Our unique "furrier method" involves gently tumbling your fur in a large drum with natural, environmentally safe cleaning solutions. This process is followed by careful vacuuming and hand-steaming. We then "glaze" the fur using an electrifying process that lifts and separates each hair, ensuring a vibrant, like-new appearance and extending the life of your cherished piece.
Leather
Unlike conventional dry cleaning, our process for leather involves gentle solvent-based cleaners applied by hand, specifically formulated to remove dirt and grime without damaging the hide. We then apply premium conditioners that penetrate the leather's fibers, restoring its natural softness, flexibility, and rich appearance.
